Club Constitution 1. NameThe club shall be known as the Bürstner UK Owners Club and is officially recognised by the Bürstner Company. 2. ObjectivesThe aim of the club is to promote camping, enjoyment of the countryside and other recreational activities that are of interest to, and for the benefit of its members. To provide an opportunity for owners of Bürstner Motorhomes and Caravans to meet, socialize and make new friends at Bürstner Club rallies and events and ensure a close liaison between the owners of Bürstner Motorhomes and Caravans with the Bürstner Company. 3. Membership(a) Membership shall be open to any owner of a Bürstner motor home or caravan, residing in the UK. Membership shall be for the motor home or caravan and its owners and include immediate family members. (b) Every person wishing to become a member shall complete an application form and together with the annual subscription submit it to the Membership Secretary. (c) The annual subscription shall become due on the 1st of April each year. Any member not paying his/her subscription by the 31st May following, shall be considered to have resigned from the Club and shall forfeit all rights and privileges. (d) Members joining after 30th September will only pay 50% of the annual membership fee (e) Members of the clubs management committee will not pay membership fees during their term of office (f) The nominated officers of the committee will hold a computer database containing contact details, model of motor home/caravan and current membership status solely for the purposes of the club. No other personal data will be held and no membership data of any description will be circulated to any other person, body or organisation at any time. (g) The committee have the right to decline membership renewal or refuse a membership application at any time without explanation. (h) The committee have the power to expel any member and refund such expelled members annual membership fee at any time without explanation. (i) Any complaints received in writing by the committee about a members conduct will be fully investigated and if found to be valid the offending member will be expelled from the club without further comment or explanation. 4. Management(a) Management of the Club shall be by a Committee, to be elected annually and to be eligible for renewal at the Annual General Meeting. (b) The Annual General Meeting shall take place each September/October, or as close as is practical.
(c) The committee shall comprise of the following posts:

Technical & Safety Officer Members representative – Motorhome and 4 committee members (d) Committee meetings will be held at intervals during the year and possibly be held at rallies organised by the club. 5. AccountsThe club financial year shall commence on the 1st of January and end on the 31st of December, after which date the treasurer shall prepare a balance sheet and statement of accounts. These accounts shall be audited and presented to the next Annual General Meeting. 6. Club Events(a) The club will promote meetings, events and rallies for the benefit of members. (b) Club members or the Rally Marshall are responsible for payment of their site fees direct to the site owner. (c) Members will be able to invite one caravan/motor home as a guest; there will be an additional charge for visiting guest outfits. (d) Events held using the DEFRA exemption certificate are for full club members only – No guests will be accepted at these events. Furthermore membership of the club must have been granted in advance of such events and be for a longer period than the duration of the event. 7. Newsletter(a) The newsletter,
containing a diary of forthcoming events, review of past events and any other
material thought to be of interest to members will be published quarterly. 8. BenefitsThe club will attempt to obtain for members, benefits (such as discounts from suppliers) and these will be advertised in the newsletter and on the web site. Discounts and benefits offered to members by the sponsors of the club may vary from time to time. 9. Subscriptions(a) The membership subscription is to cover the cost of the newsletter, marshalling, signs, advertising and any other sundry items considered necessary for the efficient running of the club.(b) The subscription will be reviewed at the AGM
